PYLI makes it easy to keep your attendees informed before and during your event. Use the Announcements feature to send important updates via email and push notifications.

✍️ Sending an Announcement

  1. Open Your Event

    • From the admin dashboard, navigate to the event you want to manage.

  2. Go to the Announcements Tab

    • In the event's navbar, click on the Announcements tab.

  3. Create Your Announcement

    • Title: Add a short and clear headline for your message.

    • Body: Write the full message you want attendees to receive.

  4. Choose When to Send

    • Click Send Announcement Now to deliver it immediately.

    • Or click Schedule Announcement to pick a date and time in the future.

? If scheduling, you can cancel the announcement anytime before it's sent.


? How Attendees Receive Announcements

  • Email: Sent to all attendees who have not unsubscribed.

  • Push Notification: Delivered to any attendee who has the PYLI app installed and has opened the event.


? Viewing Past Announcements

  • Public View: Past announcements are visible on your event’s ticket sales page.

  • In the App: Attendees can view all past messages under the Announcements module.
